Best Game to Learn JavaScript

When I learned how to code, I found it difficult at first. The best way for me to learn new things was through trial and error. For example, if I wanted to learn how a command worked in JavaScript, I would type it into my terminal and see what happened. This worked fine at first but after a while became boring because nothing changed on screen except for the code itself (which wouldn't change). Nowadays there are lots of resources available online that can teach beginners how to program in different languages like Python, Java or Ruby; however most of them use text-based tutorials or worksheets which aren't very fun compared to video games!

Best Game to Learn JavaScript

JavaScript is one of the most popular programming languages in the world and there are endless resources to learn it. However, just reading books and documentation isn't enough as mastering a coding language can require a lot of practice. There are also many different ways of learning a programming language, like following tutorials or using worksheets. However, I found that teaching yourself to code with video games is definitely the best way for me.

I would say that one of the downsides of this game is that it doesn't teach Object Oriented Programming (OOP). So if you don't know what that means yet, then don't worry about it too much--it won't affect your understanding of how to play this game at all. But if OOP sounds like something interesting for yourself as a coder in the future, then check out some other resources first before playing this game too much!

1. WarriorJS

WarriorJS is a JavaScript game that teaches you how to build games. It has a multiplayer mode where you can play against other players, but if you want to practice alone, then it also has a single-player mode with an AI that can be trained using the bot's mistakes and your wins/losses.

The game itself is simple: there are only two characters (a warrior and an archer), but they have different abilities based on their class. For example, warriors are strong but slow while archers have weak attacks but move quickly. When you start playing WarriorJS for the first time, there may not seem like much strategy involved since both characters look identical on screen until they start moving around—but once you get used to its mechanics (which takes less than five minutes), then it gets interesting!

2. CodeCombat

CodeCombat is a free online multiplayer game that teaches you to code by playing. It's a great way to learn JavaScript, but it's also an excellent tool for learning other programming languages as well.

It's an easy-to-use interface that lets you create your own bots, then pit them against each other in head-to-head battles.

You can also choose from dozens of prebuilt characters which come with their own special abilities and powers to use during battle. You can even create your own character from scratch with the many options available here. You'll have access to hundreds of weapons and shields along with dozens of skills and spells at your disposal as well!

3. Screeps

Screeps is a game where you build a colony of bots that mine resources, build other bots and fight against other players. The goal is to get as much energy as possible before the end of an AI-run year (about 200 real-time seconds). You can play the game for free or buy credits to buy more resources.

The best way to learn JavaScript in Screeps is by reading existing code and writing your own version of it. In order to do this, you will need some basic knowledge of JavaScript like variables, if statements and loops etc.

4. Codingame

Codingame is a platform where you can learn to code by solving challenges and completing missions. It's perfect for novices because you're given instructions on how to complete the challenge, and if you get stuck, there are hints available that will help you along.

You can also choose from many other languages to learn like JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS, Ruby on Rails and more! The challenges are fun and engaging without being overwhelming.

The missions are well-structured so newbies can pick them up easily without getting overwhelmed by too many concepts at once. As an added bonus: you can win prizes like books or t-shirts for completing certain levels!

Game-based learning is definitely more fun than traditional learning methods. If you’re looking for a way to learn JavaScript, this is the best place to start! It’s also great if you want to brush up on your skills and have fun at the same time.

Conclusion

Learning a programming language is not easy, but there are many resources available for free online. You can also buy books and courses if you want to take your learning further. I found that playing games is the best way to learn as they're more fun than reading books or following tutorials!
